| The Artist Leam Cika After majoring in fine art at Bennington College, Leam Cika served in the United States Navy for 4 years in San Diego, CA. While in the service he continued to work on his artistic visions that were concurrently being influenced by a dramatically widened range of experience. Throughout this period, Mr. Cika continued to exhibit and sell his work in the southern California area. Upon returning to New York Mr. Cika returned to working full time and advancing his studies at Bennington College with Pat Adams. Mr. Cika has shown his paintings throughout the country. Presently he is being shown at the Woodstock Art Association Gallery in Woodstock, NY. He has exhibited and recently took 1st Place in a show for Catskill region artists. Mr. Cika's work has been purchased by numerous private collectors, and also by private companies. Leam Cika presently lives and works in upstate New York in a home/studio he and his wife Patricia built. He presently works full time on his art: painting, sculpture, and photography.
